Job Description

The role of Sewing Machine Operator involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will be operating a sewing machine that creates stitching patterns and ensures proper stitching tension. This position requires a keen attention to detail to maintain the accuracy and consistency of stitches. You will be responsible for inspecting materials before and after production, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and following work orders accurately.

• Operate sewing machines to create stitching patterns.
• Inspect materials before and after production.
• Ensure proper stitching tension and quality.
• Follow work orders and written instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• At least 6 months of experience in a production setting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow work orders and written instructions.
• Experience in machine operation and industrial sewing.

• Good hand dexterity.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift materials weighing 50+ lbs.
• Adaptable and positive attitude.

The work environment is clean and equipped with 258 pieces of machinery. It is a loud workplace located in the industrial park of Fall River, MA. Parking is available on the premises. Employees should be prepared to work in a fast-paced setting with a steady schedule.

This is a Contract position based out of Fall River, MA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
