Job Description
- 5–10+ years of experience in: Smartphone, consumer electronics, or telecom-related industries, experience from: OEM, brand owner, carrier, or major retail channels is a plus
- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Product management / product planning
- Product commercialization / business management
- GTM / product marketing
- Portfolio or channel product management
Core Capabilities
- Strong understanding of: Smartphone product lifecycle and commercialization process, Cost structure, pricing strategy, and profitability management
- Proven track record of leading multiple successful product launches, owning business results, not just project delivery
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable with P&L, ROI, and business case modeling

- Excellent communication and management skills, Proven experience working in global and cross-region teams, Ability to influence across: HQ, R&D, supply chain, sales, and marketing organizations
- Strong ownership mindset and results orientation, highly data-driven and structured thinkers,
- Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and pressure - Collaborate with the product line team and local product planning and sales team to deliver whole solution with product proposal based on P&L, to secure the bidding success compared with other competitors to win the award
- After award, manage the value chain under considering cost/expense such as marketing budget and promotion to secure the business result.
- Set up the incentive plans for key goals to encourage the certain teams on key index to achieve the goals and push for further business success.
Key Product Go-to-Market (GTM) Management:
- Insight marketing. channel. product competition status with strategy planning team, take as routine input to product line before product development kick off , work with local product planning and product line team for product planning.
- Insight channel feedback and opportunities with local team, link with product line to secure the product planning while kick off.
- After kicking off, lead the whole team including product line key roles and local teams to set SO goal and channel launch plan, integrated price strategy and launch plans and integrated budget plans, work with channel marketing and retail management team for execution and revise the plans accordingly based on competition to secure the business target.
- Work with channel sales and marketing and retail team before and after launch, get rid of blocks and modify the plans if needed to encourage product sell out performance based on product value chain and P&L, max sales with risk under control.
