Job Description

Pay Range: Up to $125,000 Annually (Depending on Experience)

Monday-Saturday 6AM-5PM

We are looking for a Ranch Foreman/Superintendent to coordinate daily
operations and oversee ranching operations. Work as the point of reference for ownership
requests and tasks. We are looking for an individual with leadership skills and extensive
experience with farming experience (specifically in almond/pistachios) that can direct the work
of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and favor safety above
everything else

Essential Functions/Qualifications:

• Plan, implement, and manage in accordance with priorities and goals
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Daily gathering and processing of timesheets
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Daily duties could include (depending on season)
• Plant nutrition
• Irrigation Scheduling
• Monitoring/Coordinating with Pest Control Advisor (PCA)
• Pest Management
• Moisture Monitoring
• Coordinating harvesting operations
• Manage personnel via Farm Labor Contractors/Staffing Agencies
• Approving all invoices
• Ensure all operation remain in budgets
• Plan and carry out farm operations during harvest to include logistics of fruit to
  processors
• Work with Shop to repair and maintain all ag equipment
• Any other duties as assigned by Manager

Job Requirements:

Education/Experience:

• Clean DMV Record
• Fluent in Spanish a MUST
• Experience with almond and pistachio crops

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Decision making / problem solving
• Dispatching knowledge
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Organization and leadership skills
• Plan, organize and prioritize workload
• Work with minimal Supervision
• Interact well with others

Physical Requirements:

• Stand/Sit for an extensive period of time
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Perform tasks using standard computer equipment

Work Environment:

• Limited noise level
• Outdoor climate – extreme heat and cold temperatures
• Monday-Friday
• Occasional Weekends required

Personal Protective Equipment Required:

• Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when at
  construction sites
