As a Surgery Scheduler, you’ll coordinate surgical appointments so patients, physicians, and partner facilities stay aligned and informed. This role exists to keep surgery plans accurate, timely, and clearly documented while supporting a smooth patient experience.
Key responsibilities include coordinating surgery dates/locations, sharing prep and arrival guidance, confirming insurance requirements, and maintaining accurate physician surgery calendars. You’ll document in NextGen/UroChart and help ensure needed pre-certifications, prior authorizations, and referrals are in place. With competitive pay ranging from $22.00–$27.50 per hour.
You’ll work onsite in our Coon Rapids clinic during Monday–Friday daytime hours (no nights, weekends, or holidays). The day moves between focused scheduling work and patient communication—reviewing requests, updating calendars as changes come in, and making sure details in the system match what patients and facilities need. You’ll spend time on the phone and in the EHR, answering questions with calm clarity, keeping notes current, and adjusting plans when a case needs to shift—always aiming to reduce patient inconvenience and keep everyone on the same page. You may be required to work from other clinic locations based on business needs.
