Commercial Roofing Superintendent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on commercial roofing projects. This role is responsible for ensuring productivity, quality workmanship, crew coordination, and strict adherence to safety standards across multiple job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day field operations on commercial roofing projects
• Manage roofing crews and subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality standards
• Coordinate jobsite activities with Project Managers, vendors, and clients
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Ensure roofing systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications and contract documents
• Monitor project schedules, manpower allocations, and material deliveries
• Conduct jobsite meetings, safety talks, and address field issues related to labor, materials, or scope
• Maintain accurate daily reports, job logs, and project documentation
• Perform final inspections, generate punch lists, and ensure project close-out requirements are met

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial roofing experience , including supervisory or leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including:
  • TPO
  • EPDM
  • PVC
  • Modified Bitumen
  • Built-Up Roofing (BUR)
  • Metal Roofing Systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and job sites simultaneously
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to enforce safety standards and lead by example
• Proficiency with OSHA compliance requirements
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed

Preferred Skills

• Experience conducting jobsite meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Strong documentation skills, including maintaining accurate daily logs and project records
• Familiarity with project coordination tools and technology used in the roofing industry

Work Environment

This role involves working across various commercial roofing projects and requires coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Travel to job sites is required. You will utilize industry‑standard technology and equipment to ensure high-quality project execution.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mankato, MN.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Mankato,MN.
