Indiana Hospitality Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our hotel’s HR operations and help create an engaging, compliant, and people-focused workplace. This role is ideal for someone with hospitality experience who enjoys supporting employees, maintaining organization, and partnering with leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for new hires
* Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with company policy and labor laws
* Support payroll, benefits administration, and timekeeping processes
* Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
* Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation
* Coordinate training programs, compliance requirements, and HR audits
* Support performance management, attendance tracking, and corrective action documentation
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
* Partner with department leaders to support staffing needs and HR initiatives
Qualifications
* Previous HR experience preferred; hospitality or hotel experience strongly preferred
* Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and confidentiality standards
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment
