Job Description

Location: Houston, TX

Rate: $18-$22/hr

Duration: 3-6 months (potential for extension)



Position Overview
The Warehouse Packer is responsible for accurately preparing, packing, and labelling customer orders to ensure safe and efficient shipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations by following quality standards, meeting productivity goals, and keeping the work area clean and organized.



Key Responsibilities

  • Pack, and prepare orders according to company standards and customer requirements
  • Inspect items for damage, accuracy, and quality before packing
  • Use packing materials to secure products and prevent damage during transit
  • Label packages correctly and ensure all documentation is complete
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, scanners, carts)
  • Operate forklift equipment previous experience is required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow safety procedures and report any issues or hazards
  • Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed
  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous warehouse or packing experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Work Environment
  • Frequent lifting, bending, and moving of materials
  • Use of safety equipment as required
  • 2nd shift operations required 10 am to 6:45 pm
