Our jewelry client is looking for a freelance Video Editor to assist their team starting immediately to assist on a variety of campaign videos and photo assets. This will be ongoing, 40 hours each week, based onsite at their NYC office.The Video Editor will:- Take existing footage and cut it down into short form ad videos to be used across their homepage (desktop and mobile), Instagram Reels, and YouTube- Incorporate copy (that they will design) throughout the video, so basic animation skills are ideal- Translate creative direction into various video options for review (able to take feedback, tweak, and adjust as-needed)- Handle basic photo editing as-needed (lighting, cropping, etc.)The Video Editor has:- Ideally 3+ years of experience, and previous background creating videos for social media ads (fashion / luxury / retail experience or aesthetic is highly preferred)- Basic animation skills (ability to add in copy, text, etc. as-needed) - Ability to take feedback, and handle all necessary re-sizing / production of video adsIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
