Pay Rate/Range: $22/hr + DOE
Description: The staff accountant will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to vendors. Will be cross trained in other areas or accounting. Will receive, verify and enter supplier invoices, reconcile supplier statements and research/resolve any discrepancies, review invoices to determine sales tax rate, organize and maintain accounts payable files and records. Will maintain 1099's and other information on suppliers and will assist in month end closing and assist in other related duties as required.
Job Requirements: Must have excellent communication skills, be able to follow directions and have strong computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing and email. Must be good with numbers and have strong math skills, be trustworthy with highly confidential information. Must be able to sit at a computer, climb stairs and lift up to 30lbs.
Job Type: Contract, with the possibility of Contract-to-Hire.
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
