Job Description
This role is responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, modifying, and repairing sheet metal products and HVAC components on commercial and industrial jobsites. You will work from blueprints and shop drawings to produce high-quality ductwork and related systems, using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. The position focuses on the installation of air-cooled DX, condenser-water, and chilled-water systems, supporting both large and complex projects as well as projects with accelerated schedules.

Work Environment
This position is based on active construction jobsites within the DFW metro area, focused on new commercial and industrial construction. Work takes place primarily on a large ground-up project at a new high school campus, with a multi-year project timeline and the potential for continuation on future projects. The environment is fast-paced and schedule-driven, with frequent coordination among multiple trades. You will work both indoors and outdoors, at various heights, and in areas that may be noisy, dusty, or exposed to changing weather conditions typical of construction sites. Standard construction attire and appropriate personal protective equipment are required at all times. The role involves regular use of hand and power tools, sheet metal fabrication equipment such as shears, brakes, presses, and forming rolls, and may include operating or working around forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when properly certified. Work hours follow typical construction schedules, with the need to be on site reliably and ready to work throughout the duration of the project.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
