Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst for Workday Benefits Integration Support will play a critical role in stabilizing and troubleshooting integrations between Workday and external benefits providers. This position acts as a liaison among business stakeholders, Workday technical teams, integration developers, and benefits providers to analyze issues, trace employee lifecycle transactions, and ensure smooth data flow and accurate benefits processing.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and troubleshoot Workday-to-benefits-provider integrations and exchanged data.
• Trace employee lifecycle, benefits, and payroll-related transactions end-to-end.
• Investigate discrepancies to determine root causes including data, configuration, or integration logic issues.
• Review integration outputs, logs, reports, and provider responses to identify issue origins.
• Collaborate with benefits experts, Workday teams, developers, vendors, and stakeholders to validate findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Document root-cause analyses, business rules, and resolutions understandable by technical and business audiences.
• Differentiate true defects from expected system behavior or misunderstood business rules.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end data flow diagrams for employee, payroll, retirement, and benefits transactions through Workday integrations.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst supporting HCM ERP implementations, production stabilization, or complex system integrations (3+ years).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across multiple systems and organizations.
• Experience analyzing integration data, mappings, transformation rules, logs, and reports.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical or functional investigations.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple issues, identify patterns, coordinate teams, and drive resolutions.
• Workday experience with integrations, HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and employee lifecycle transactions (3+ years).
• Experience with retirement or pension benefit administration, system configuration, eligibility rules, and contribution processing (3+ years).
• Experience supporting Workday or other large ERP platforms during implementation and post-go-live stabilization (3+ years).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience supporting integrations with benefits providers, retirement systems, insurance carriers, or payroll vendors.
• Familiarity with APIs, web services, middleware, integration platforms, XML/JSON, flat-file integrations, or data transformation concepts.

Special Considerations:

• Absences greater than two weeks require prior approval and must provide reachable contact information.
• Assignment contingent upon customer renewal and availability of funding.
• Candidate must agree to start within 10 business days of selection.
