The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in our debt settlement firm by handling warm inbound leads and qualifying potential clients who are struggling with debt. You will conduct in-depth discovery calls to build professional rapport, uncover the reasons behind their debt buildup, identify key pain points, verify income, and understand their goals for becoming debt-free. Your primary focus is on high-quality qualification: subtly demonstrating the need for a debt relief program while gathering all necessary financial details to create a comprehensive, well-organized analysis and hand-off summary. This sets up our senior sales representatives for successful pitch calls and closes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle warm inbound leads by conducting in-depth discovery calls to engage potential clients experiencing debt issues and identify those who can benefit from our debt settlement services.
• Build professional rapport while gathering key details about the client's financial situation, including reasons for debt accumulation, specific pain points caused by the debt, verified income, and their ultimate goals for becoming debt-free.
• Qualify the opportunity by subtly demonstrating the need for a debt relief program and assessing fit for our services.
• Prepare a comprehensive, well-organized financial analysis and hand-off summary for senior sales representatives, including all relevant information to enable a successful pitch and close.
• Maintain high activity levels to meet performance targets:
• Complete a minimum of 10 qualification calls/analyses per day.
• Conduct at least 150 dials/outbound attempts per day.
• Achieve a minimum of 3 hours of talk time per day.
• Follow up on leads with a minimum of 3 contact attempts per day (capped at 4) to maximize reach and conversion.
• Ensure all hand-offs meet quality standards, targeting at least a 10% close rate by senior reps (with 15%+ considered strong and 20%+ exceptional).
• Comply with all applicable legal and regulatory obligations, including proper documentation and client communication standards.
• Complete other tasks assigned by Management.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of work experience
• Experience working in the financial industry is a plus but not required
• Has the ability to read scripts
• Good mathematical skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
• Strong oral and written communication skills
