About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join an Outpatient Infusion Unit for a 13-week contract in Utica, New York. This role focuses on delivering high-quality infusion therapy, chemotherapy administration, blood product transfusions, and patient-centered care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister infusion therapies, chemotherapy, and blood products according to established clinical protocols.
Assess, monitor, and educate adult and geriatric patients throughout infusion treatments.
Operate infusion equipment and ensure safe medication administration using established nursing practices.
Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Float as needed to support patient care while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
Minimum 1 year of outpatient infusion nursing experience required.
Prior travel nursing experience required.
Current BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy certifications required.
Experience with Epic EMR and the ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient infusion environment.
