Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Department: Radiation Oncology

Location: Eureka California

Shift: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (08:00 16:30)

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join a radiation oncology team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering precise radiation treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
Monitor patients for side effects and provide support during treatment
Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records using electronic medical systems
Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare team members
Float between similar units as needed

Requirements:

ARRT (T) certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
Active state license (if required; must be in hand at submission)
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
