Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Shift: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (08:00 16:30)

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join a radiation oncology team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering precise radiation treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
• Monitor patients for side effects and provide support during treatment
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records using electronic medical systems
• Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare team members
• Float between similar units as needed

Requirements:

• ARRT (T) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• Active state license (if required; must be in hand at submission)
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
