Job Description

Our client, an HR software solutions company, has an immediate need for a FULLY-REMOTE Product Designer. This part-time, REMOTE role starts as soon as we've identified the ideal candidate, and will continue (about 20-30 hours per week) for at least 5 months.

The ideal Product Designer will own work across the full design process - from research and synthesis, to flows, interaction design, prototyping, polished UI design, and implementation. You'll help ensure our experiences are not only useful and intuitive, but also cohesive, thoughtful, and high-quality from concept through launch.

Product Designer Responsibilities:

• Play a direct role in integrating a newly-aquired tool into an existing platform
• Design experiences that work seamlessly within an existing ecosystem while preserving the product's original integrity
• Navigate the constraints and opportunities that come with building within an established platform
• Take ownership of the work - navigate ambiguity, identify key priorities, drive projects forward with little hand-holding
• Think beyond individual screens, and design scalable, cohesive experiences that feel intuitive for users and sustainable for future growth

Product Designer Requirements:

• 5+ years of digital product design experience
• Strong ability to turn complex, messy problems into simple, intuitive user experiences
• Sharp eye for visual and interaction design, with experience thinking in systems and creating consistent, scalable products
• Experience conducting user research and turning insights into thoughtful product and design decisions
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design thinking, rationale, and tradeoffs across teams
