Job Title: Pro Shop Attendant (Seasonal – Summer)

Position Summary:
The Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to
members and guests while managing daily operations at the pro shop counter. This role
serves as the first point of contact for golfers and plays a key role in ensuring a smooth
and enjoyable experience on and off the course.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage tee sheet operations, including check-ins, bookings, and pace of play coordination.
• Process transactions for green fees, merchandise, and food/beverage items using the POS system.
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservations, inquiries, and general information.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop and counter area.
• Assist with merchandising, including stocking, folding, and displaying retail items.
• Communicate effectively with outside services staff and golf operations team.
• Enforce course policies and procedures in a courteous manner.
• Provide basic knowledge of the golf course, events, and promotions.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills: experience with POS systems preferred.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Interest or knowledge of golf is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of merchandise (up to 25 lbs).

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Primarily indoors with frequent interaction with outdoor golf operations.
