Job Description

Assist service plumbers with repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks. Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle. Communicate effectively with team members and customers when needed. Follow safety procedures and company standards. Perform basic plumbing tasks under supervision.

• Experience with residential and commercial service plumbing.

• Ability to read blueprints and perform diagnostic testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Comfortable working in various environments such as crawl spaces and outdoors.
• Clean, professional appearance with company-provided uniforms.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for job-related tasks.
• Valid, clean driver’s license.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.

Work Environment

Field-based role with daily travel using a company-provided service vehicle. Work independently but with support from a collaborative service team. Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation. Operate in a professional, customer-facing environment requiring a clean appearance and respectful communication. Experience a fast-paced service setting with a variety of job types and system types, including new construction, older systems, tankless units, and commercial heaters.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Des Moines, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
