Pine Crest Health and Memory Care is looking for a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant. We are committed to a Culture of Caring, not only for the residents we serve but for our valued employees as well. Pay: $35/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of the physical therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
• Assist with patient transfers and mobility
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
• Knowledge of trigger point therapy, anatomy, and physiology
• Experience in occupational health and acute care settings preferred
• Familiarity with working in a hospital environment

Skills:

• Strong patient care skills, including empathy and active listening
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
