Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $85 - $59.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create personalized occupational therapy treatment plans tailored to their functional needs and goals
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve strength, coordination, fine motor skills, and activities of daily living
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to maximize patient independence
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and adaptive strategies
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team for seamless, coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with clinic standards and regulations

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
• Current CPR/BLS certification (if required by the clinic)
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in occupational therapy assessment and treatment planning
• Proficiency with adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Time management and documentation skills
