Job Description

Salary: $60,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements:

• Secret clearance or higher
• Bachelors degree with a minimum of two years of experience in working with Cisco routers and switches
• In-depth knowledge of LAN, WAN, and WLAN network infrastructures and protocols

• Support activities and operations necessary to maintain the divisions network
• Ensure the stability and integrity of data, voice, video, and wireless network services
• Install, configure, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize network hardware, software, and communication links
• Analyze and resolve network hardware and software issues and provide training when needed
• Contribute to network design, project planning, and budgeting
• Responsible for the installation and maintenance of network devices
• Monitor network devices to guarantee acceptable performance
• Create and maintain documentation for network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
• Oversee incident response, backup systems, and disaster recovery plans and tests
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, and other network elements
• Serve as a resource for customers and external stakeholders regarding network inquiries
• Identify, assess, and implement hardware and software solutions for departmental systems
• Provide support for Cisco routers, switches, Voice and Video over IP, Data Center, and Cisco Wireless networks
