Salary: $143,520 - 153,720 per year Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience in Network Engineering or an equivalent combination of experience, training, military service, or education
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and/or Arista routing and switching configurations
• Proficient in routing and switching technologies, especially with VXLAN overlay networking
• Extensive experience (5+ years) with IP routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and RIP in large enterprise settings
• Proven track record (5+ years) in designing LAN/WAN/Data Center network solutions for large organizations
• Professional certifications like CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE (with a preference for Data Center) are highly regarded
• Strong grasp of Quality of Service (QoS) configurations for enterprise environments
• Expertise in working with Cisco and Arista routers and switches
• In-depth understanding of Layer 2 switching protocols such as Spanning Tree, Trunking, and EtherChannel
• Familiarity with MLAG, EVPN, CVP, Multicast, HSRP, CBWFQ, DSCP, NAT/SNAT, TCP/IP, and Ethernet
• Experience with DNS and domain services
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Python, Ansible, and GitHub
• Familiarity with change management tools like ServiceNow
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Experience in creating and updating technical design documentation for engineering teams
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Visio Professional
• Prior experience in Agile environments, utilizing Jira is advantageous
• Background in large financial services environments is preferred

• Lead network engineering projects focused on enhancing data center infrastructure, covering the implementation, migration, and decommissioning of routers and switches
• Analyze complex technical issues and provide strategic recommendations using industry best practices
• Design and sustain LAN/WAN/Data Center network solutions tailored for large enterprise environments
• Configure and offer support for Cisco Nexus and/or Arista switching and routing devices
• Implement advanced overlay networking technologies like VXLAN
• Oversee the lifecycle management of internal network components, which includes capacity planning and documentation updates
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of network projects
• Adhere to change control protocols (ServiceNow) and contribute to the development of technical design documents
• Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support as necessary for significant changes or deployments
