We’re hiring skilled MIG welders to work on custom steel tank fabrication projects using high-quality materials and detailed blueprints. If you take pride in precision welding and want your own dedicated workspace—this is the job for you.

What You’ll Do

• Perform MIG welding on Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum
• Work on custom fabrication projects (not repetitive production work)
• Weld 7-gauge and 10-gauge materials for tank builds
• Read and interpret blueprints to complete welds to spec
• Work independently at your own assigned welding station
• Ensure quality, consistency, and clean finishes on all welds

✅ What You Bring

• Strong MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and work from blueprints
• Solid experience in steel welding and fitting
• Pride in producing clean, accurate welds
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

⭐ Highly Preferred (But Not Required)

• AWS Certifications (D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6)
• ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HUNTLEY, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
