Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, connection-obsessed, and systems-minded Looker Data Analyst to join our high-performing Growth Team under a part-time, freelance remote engagement framework open exclusively to qualified analytics professionals based permanently in the Philippines. Operating as the primary visual analytics authority and data storytelling lead for our digital video platforms, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability over Looker dashboard architectures, metadata integrity, and data self-sufficiency modeling loops. Shifting completely away from routine mechanical chart replication, minor isolated administrative log updates, or simple disconnected file checks, you will run an active data mining, query optimization, and LookML code architecture laboratory—partnering face-to-face with marketing, sales, product, and customer success cohorts. This position requires an internet technology or product-led growth veteran who maps out comprehensive data architectures fluidly natively using Data Analyst tools, diagnoses reporting inefficiencies cleanly natively leveraging advanced Data Analyst modeling methodologies (specifically requiring absolute mastery over Looker Explores and LookML modeling layers), and commands asynchronous multi-stakeholder insight projects confidently under a flexible 10 to 20 hours per week schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Cross-Functional Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate intimately with distributed teams across marketing, sales, product, and customer success to deeply deconstruct their unique business hurdles, mapping out analytical workflows cleanly natively utilizing Data Analyst methods.
• Lean Dashboard Architecture & Consolidation: Formulate, design, and protect a lean, hyper-efficient set of Looker dashboards, actively resisting dashboard sprawl by extending existing semantic data nodes instead of generating redundant pipelines.
• LookML Modeling & Explore Governance: Program, document, and maintain crisp, robust Looker Explores, enabling business users to easily self-serve ad-hoc data questions natively leveraging Data Analyst best practices.
• Forensic Insight Extrapolation: Go far beyond standard charting loops to deeply investigate the underlying mechanical "why" driving user conversion trends, surfacing critical data anomalies and translating analytics blocks into action-ready summaries.
• Data Standardization & Documentation: Enforce uncompromised metric definition alignment, data cataloging standards, and naming conventions to ensure the reporting environment remains entirely trustworthy and navigable as the platform scales.
• Data Engineering Interlock: Partner in lockstep with centralized data engineering squads to ensure Looker Explores are anchored smoothly within robust, high-performance physical data warehouse schemas.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Freelance Schedule Commitment: Consistent weekly availability and capability to dedicate approximately 10 to 20 hours per week operating under a remote, asynchronous freelance structure.
• Demonstrated professional track record of success building, scaling, and managing production-grade data pipelines, interactive dashboards, and business intelligence suites specifically inside Looker.
• Expert-tier capability modeling data hierarchies, optimizing semantic layers, and transforming raw business matrices natively utilizing Data Analyst workflows.
• Practical operational familiarity writing, debugging, and optimizing complex, high-concurrency SQL queries natively using Data Analyst database configurations (specifically requiring complete working mastery over LookML code, system Explores, and data modeling frameworks).
• A proven track record of successfully rationalizing corporate data setups, dismantling complex dashboard silos, and driving self-serve analytics adoption among non-technical users.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and scannable technical-documentation communication attributes in business-fluent English to tell compelling business stories using complex telemetry sets.
• Location Context: Position open strictly to qualified analytics professionals located and resident within the Philippines to execute a highly autonomous, work-from-home remote track.

• Prior engineering or analytics background operating explicitly within a high-concurrency cloud data warehouse environment (specifically utilizing Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift).
