Job Description

Role: Flight Nurse responsible for safely transporting patients via air ambulance, supporting critical care in transit, and scene call work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients, supporting physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, ensuring safety standards and equipment checks.
• Communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, and partners, sharing shift information and maintaining documentation.
• Stay current with certifications and ongoing training requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in applicable states, with EMT and Trauma Certifications as required.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (training provided), and CFRN within 24 months.

Preferred Skills

• Prior flight experience and instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
