Salary: $100,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of direct experience in information security within an IT organization
• Relevant industry certifications are preferred
• Strong understanding of incident response and management methodologies
• Proficient in operating systems, networking, and MS Active Directory
• Good knowledge of SaaS-based cloud application security and platforms like Azure
• Ability to develop proactive procedures for detecting security breaches
• Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving capabilities
• Experience collaborating with system and network administrators to mitigate identified risks
• Familiarity with security controls across network, application, and operating systems
• Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Strong research and analytical skills in case of a security breach
• Competence in analyzing malicious payloads and conducting email investigations
• Knowledge of encryption and cryptography standards and best practices
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to seek advice when needed

• Monitor security operations continuously, analyzing detections from various security tools (NGFW, EDR, NDR, TIP, SIEM) in a 24/7 operational environment
• Manage the configuration, optimization, and functionality of security tools used by the SOC to improve response and security posture
• Conduct thorough investigations of escalated detections to assess the scope of potential attacks
• Collaborate on enhancing SOC processes and procedures, aligning with the evolving threat landscape
• Keep updated on emerging threats by analyzing tactics, techniques, and procedures used by attackers
• Provide mentorship and support to junior analysts, ensuring adherence to investigation best practices
• Perform threat analysis including malware investigation and network forensics to identify malicious activities
• Review security event reports to proactively fortify defenses across the organization
