Position: Cybersecurity Engineer - Blue Team

Type: Contract

Compensation: $85–$140/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Design and build benchmark tasks grounded in real SOC and detection engineering work.
• Construct realistic evaluation environments, including multi-host networks, Active Directory , and cloud control planes.
• Define what "correct" looks like for blue-team AI reasoning and build infrastructure to measure it reproducibly at scale.
• Translate blue-team workflow experience into rigorous evaluation design.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance .

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Hands-on blue-team experience in detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, or malware analysis.
• Strong scripting and cloud/enterprise environment skills.
