Key Responsibilities:

• Remote Coaching Services: Provide professional individual (and potentially group) coaching sessions via secure video conferencing. Focus on client-defined agendas and goals related to areas such as career development, leadership skills, life transitions, wellness, performance enhancement, or personal growth.
• Goal Clarification & Action Planning: Partner with clients using effective coaching techniques (e.g., active listening, powerful questioning) to clarify goals, explore possibilities, identify obstacles, and co-create actionable strategies.
• Empowerment & Accountability: Support clients in identifying and leveraging their strengths, resources, and creativity. Provide structure and accountability to encourage client progress and follow-through on action plans.
• Scope Definition & Ethical Boundaries: Maintain a clear distinction between coaching and therapy. Operate strictly within the scope of coaching practice. Recognize when a client's needs fall outside this scope (e.g., requiring mental health treatment) and refer them appropriately to licensed mental health professionals or other resources. Coaching services provided via this platform are not intended to diagnose or treat mental health disorders.
• Ethical Practice: Adhere rigorously to the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics or the ethical code of another recognized professional coaching body. Uphold strict client confidentiality as defined within coaching ethics and client agreements.
• Client Communication: Clearly communicate the coaching process, session logistics, fee structures, confidentiality limits, and the specific nature of coaching (vs. therapy) to potential and current clients.
• Direct Fee Management: Establish your coaching package rates or session fees and manage the billing and payment process directly with your clients.

Requirements:

• Education & Coach Training: While no specific degree is required, a Bachelor's degree may be preferred by some clients. Completion of comprehensive coach-specific training (e.g., 60+ hours) from a reputable program, particularly one accredited or approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF ACTP or ACSTH), is highly preferred.
• Certification: Professional certification from a recognized coaching organization (e.g., International Coaching Federation - ICF: ACC, PCC, MCC; Center for Credentialing & Education - BCC) is strongly preferred and may be required for platform inclusion as an indicator of training, experience, and ethical commitment. Note: Coaching is not a state-licensed profession in the US.
• Experience: Verifiable experience providing professional coaching services. Testimonials or references demonstrating coaching effectiveness are advantageous. Experience delivering coaching via remote/virtual platforms is a plus.
• Specialization (Optional): Demonstrated expertise or certification in specific coaching niches (e.g., Executive, Leadership, Career, Business, Wellness, Life Purpose, ADHD coaching) is welcome and can be highlighted in your profile.
• Technology Competency: Proficiency in using online video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet), scheduling tools, and basic client management/record-keeping practices suitable for coaching.
• Ethical Knowledge: Strong understanding of and commitment to the ICF Code of Ethics (or equivalent). Clear understanding of the boundaries between coaching, consulting, mentoring, and therapy.
• Insurance: Carrying professional liability (E&O) insurance specifically covering coaching services is strongly recommended for independent practice.

Conditions of Collaboration:

• Status: Independent Contractor (1099).

• Full Autonomy: You control your client engagements, coaching approach, and business practices within ethical guidelines.
• Location Independent: Coach clients remotely from any suitable private location within the US with stable internet.
• Set Your Coaching Fees: Determine your own competitive rates for individual sessions or coaching packages.
• Direct Client Payments: Clients pay you directly for your coaching services; Mentalzon does not handle billing or take commissions on your coaching fees.
• Client Visibility: Connect with individuals seeking coaching services through the Mentalzon.com platform.
• Platform Support: Benefit from Mentalzon's platform infrastructure and marketing efforts; receive technical support as needed.
• Build Your Brand: Utilize platform features for client testimonials (with permission) to enhance your professional reputation.

1. Create Your Coach Profile: Register on Mentalzon.com. Detail your coach training, certifications (e.g., ICF credential), coaching experience, niche/specialty, and coaching philosophy/approach.
