Role Description

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Create Functional Specification Documents by understanding the requirements and communicating with clients.
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
• Review and debug code.
• Perform validation and verification testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
• Document development phases and monitor systems.
• Ensure software is up to date with the latest technologies.
• Optionally develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C/C++ Application development and maintenance.
• Good analytical and debugging skills.
• Good experience in SQL.
• Good experience in Unix commands and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Good experience with SVN/GIT/CVS or similar tools.

Requirements

• Knowledge of FIS products and services.
• Knowledge of financial domain (e.g. wealth portfolio management and reporting).
• Prior experience working with an agile team.
• Knows Fortran and/or PL/I.
