This is a remote position.

24 Hour Caregivers Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing client billing processing invoices and ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for services provided. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills experience in healthcare billing and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate invoices for care giving services
  • Verify billing data client information and service documentation
  • Process insurance claims and follow up on unpaid or denied claims
  • Manage accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Communicate with clients insurance companies and internal staff regarding billing issues
  • Maintain organized billing records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred)
  • 13 years of billing or accounting experience (healthcare industry preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical billing practices insurance claims and reimbursement processes
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
