Overview
The Application Analyst II handles more complex application issues and participates in project implementations and upgrades. They analyze business requirements, design solutions, and ensure changes align with organizational objectives. This role provides guidance to junior analysts and contributes to process improvements and system optimization. The analyst serves as a key resource for IT and business teams, supporting effective application use and performance.
This Application Analyst II position reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Consulting Services within IS Strategic Planning & Performance (SPP) at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and sits on the Collaboration & Productivity Tools (CPT) team, which supports a portfolio of solutions that enable staff to work more efficiently and effectively. In this role, the analyst partners with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate tool capabilities, and recommend and implement effective solutions. Responsibilities include designing, configuring, and building low-code and no-code solutions to streamline workflows and automate processes, as well as administering and optimizing collaboration and productivity platforms. The analyst also supports daily operations, including ServiceNow queue management, break/fix support, access requests, and user assistance, while coordinating with relevant Mass General Brigham (MGB) resources. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with collaboration platforms, low-code tools, system administration, and productivity technologies such as Quickbase, Smartsheet, Dropbox, SurveyMonkey, Panopto, LinkedIn Learning, and Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint, Teams, Forms, and Power Apps. This position is funded through 2030, with the potential for extension. The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
