Job Title: Accountant

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: Determined based on experience and knowledge
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to support the financial operations of our staffing agency. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting functions within a fast-paced environment and familiarity with TempWorks software. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Perform payroll reconciliation and support weekly payroll cycles
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
Prepare financial reports, statements, and account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Monitor cash flow and support budgeting processes
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations
Work closely with operations and recruiting teams on financial matters
Utilize TempWorks system for accounting, reporting, and payroll-related functions
Support audits and provide documentation as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Previous accounting experience in staffing or temporary employment industry strongly preferred
Familiarity with TempWorks software required
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment
In-person role in a professional office setting
Standard business hours, Monday through Friday
