**Key Responsibilities:**

- Review, code, and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Manage vendor payment cycles, including issuing checks and reconciliation activities.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analyses of accounts as required.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and financial audits.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure cost-effective sourcing and timely payment processing.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
